About the 19th. November, 1900, a man named Ma
Wong Hoi came to Hongkong from Canton with a number of others, and lodged in the Yan On boarding house.

I met Ma Wong Hoi and his party several times and heard them discussing with Ng Shui Shang about the proposed murder of Yeung Kui Wan, Yeung Tsing Kai and other officials were present at these discussions, and took an active part in
them.

At the end of November Ng Shui Shang sent Wa Wong Boi's party back to Canton because the Hongkong Police wanted
to arrest one of them.

On the 4th. January, 1901, Ng Shui Shang took
me to Canton to get another party, Ng Shui Shang went to see the Frovincial Treasurer and Li Ka Cheuk in Canton,

Ng Shui Shang and Yeung Tsing Kai got a number
of men together and I came down with some of them in one of the Steamers leaving Canton on the evening of the 7th. January and arriving in Hongkong in the early morning of the 8th.
Chan Lam Tsai and Tung Cheung were amongst the men who came down that night, they went to stay in a brothel at the West end of Victoria, Hongkong.

On the 9th. January Tung Cheung went to Yeung Kui Wan's house, he returned to Ng Shui Shang's and said in the presence of Ng Shui Shang and myself and others that he could murder Yeung Kui Wan by himself without assistance. Ng Shui Shang said Tung Cheung was a smart man. It was then arranged to carry out the murder on the next day. Li Kwai Fan was present at the time in Ng Shui Shang's house and so was Chan Lan Tsai. I met
Li Kwai Fan for the first time on the 8th. January at the brothel before mentioned.
